This Privacy Policy is provided by MyZappz Loyalty Solutions Limited (“MyZappz”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the MyZappz loyalty platform and website.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you register, including your name, email address, and business details (for vendors). We also collect usage data such as stamps awarded, offers redeemed, and in-app activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the loyalty stamp program and process rewards
  • To send in-app notifications and shouts from vendors you follow
  • To provide analytics to vendors about their customer activity
  • To process payments for vendor subscriptions via Stripe
  • To improve the app and troubleshoot issues

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with third-party services only where necessary to operate the platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing for vendor subscriptions
  • Expo (push notifications) — delivery of push notifications
  • AWS — cloud hosting and storage

Vendors can see aggregate data about their customers (stamp counts, redemption rates) but cannot see other customers' personal details beyond what they provided when joining that vendor's loyalty program.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at contact@myzappz.com. Vendor billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

6. Your Rights

7. Cookies

The MyZappz website uses minimal cookies for analytics purposes. The mobile app does not use cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notification or email.
